ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
England will play in the semi-finals of the European Championship after beating Switzerland in a penalty shootout. The Three Lions scored all five spot-kicks, and Ivan Toney's was the pick of the bunch. The Brentford striker didn't even look at the ball as he coolly slotted past Yann Sommer.

WHAT NEXT FOR ENGLAND?
Gareth Southgate's are in the semi-finals of the European Championship again and they will take on either the Netherlands or Turkey. The Three Lions haven't been at their very best throughout the tournament, and they struggled for large parts against Switzerland, but their players kept their cool under pressure and will now look ahead to Wednesday's match.
