THE BIGGER PICTURE
Gatti has been impressive as a key part of the Juventus team, making 42 appearances in all competitions. Gatti is now asking for a €3 million pay raise that would see him match the wages of some of his peers in Turin. However, with the Italian's contract not expiring until June 2028, Juve are unwilling to grant his request. This situation could lead to Gatti moving to a different club, with both Villa and Napoli interested in adding the defender to their squads and meeting his demands.

Juventus have other priorities on their plate as of now. The Italian club reportedly want to sign Sandro Tonali from Newcastle and are willing to part ways with out-of-favor Douglas Luiz after only a year in a possible swap deal. The Serie A side are also open to bringing Antony to Turin in the wake of the winger's resurgence on loan at Real Betis after struggling at Manchester United.

WHAT NEXT FOR JUVENTUS?
Igor Tudor's side managed to book a place in next season's Champions League and the club will need to make some key signings to bolster the squad. With Randal Kolo Muani having impressed during his loan spell, they might be willing to make his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain permanent.
Tudor's team will kick off their Club World Cup campaign on 19 June 2025.
