Norway boss Stale Solbakken has admitted it is unlikely he will receive praise from Mikel Arteta after Martin Odegaard was injured for Norway.

  Odegaard was injured for Norway during their Nations League clash with Austria and appeared to leave the pitch in tears. The injury comes at a dismal time for Arsenal, as they face north London rivals Tottenham this weekend, before kicking off their Champions League campaign against Atalanta. After that, they face Manchester City.

  Odegaard has been a key cog in Arsenal's machine under Arteta and he contributed to 22 goals last season as the Gunners launched a serious title challenge. This season, he is yet to score or assist, but has started every game.

  Asked about the injury after the game, Solbakken told : "It looked bad in the dressing room too. He didn't have the nerve to continue. It is not certain that Arteta will call me tonight and praise me."
