ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Mullin's hat-trick against Accrington Stanley last weekend took his tally for this season to 16 in all competitions – placing him 10th in the club's all-time scoring charts with 95. Despite missing the first couple of months of the season with a punctured lung, the 29-year-old still hopes to better his 47 goals from last season in the National League.

WHAT PAUL MULLIN SAID
He told The Leader: "It's not bad after missing 10 games at the start of the season but equally, it's not good enough for me. As I always say, I want to do better and better. I knew 47 goals last season would be tough to beat but that's always been my aim. Even after missing games, I still wanted to try and do that. It looks very unachievable but that's where my aim is every season."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
While Mullin's goal targets are arguably a positive, the main aim is to secure Wrexham their second straight promotion by taking them up into League One. They currently sit third in League Two, occupying the last of the automatic promotion spots, and face a crucial last 11 games of the season.

WHAT NEXT?
Wrexham, who have the best home form in the division but just the 11th-best away form, travel to play-off chasing Morecambe on Saturday, before hosting mid-table Harrogate Town at the Racecourse three days later.
